Babes in Arms

I finally made it to the Babes in Arms session with my daughter. I thought a children’s movie was on today but it was United 93.
But I thought that I would give it a try just to see how she would react to the movie. I let her take in a few sweets, just to distract her incase she got scared of the dark and the noise. But she was fine!
She was really happy to have a comfortable chair to herself and also a ‘special’ place to leave her juice.
I think she was a bit overwhelmed by the noise, as you can imagine with a movie such as United 93.
Of course I did not get to follow the movie as I was too busy watching her – and since we are planning a trip overseas soon, I really did not want her to watch a plane been blown up or hijacked.
So I am yet to watch United 93 as I left the movie before it got too ‘action packed’. But at least I know now that I can go to the movies with her and enjoy a good family or children’s movie.
