Movies: Home VS Cinema

When I first arrived to Australia, as an overseas student, I spent most of my time at the movies – especially on Tuesdays. Living close to a shopping centre which had a huge cinema complex, was definitely an added advantage. Also the fact that there were forty other students at the hostel I was living in was great as someone was always going to the movies.
It definitely helped with taking the stresses away from exams, assignments and living away from home.
My life has now done a right about turn as I have not been to the movies for three years! No I have not gone off movies! It is just that I have a three year old daughter and so do not have the time to go to the movies. But I do get to watch heaps of DVD’s once she is asleep. Although it is nice to sit at home and relax and watch a movie, which is often the latest one, it still can’t beat the feeling of going to the movies.
But…I am definitely planning on having a go at the ‘Babes in Arms’ movie session, which is on Wednesday, near the place that I live at. Keep posted Mums and all of you who have not been to theses sessions. I will let you know how it went! Should be interesting!
For those of you who have been to one of these already, feel free to let me know how it went, or offer any advice.
